Speaking & Writing
Speaking at WordCamps on leadership, remote work, and project delivery. Writing weekly on LinkedIn about the things most managers don’t say out loud.
WHAT I BELIEVE
“Most people think leadership means working less once you reach the top. I think it’s the opposite.”
Leadership is a service role. Your job is to remove every obstacle between your team and their best work — and to keep showing up, even when no one’s watching.
About
I work at the intersection of execution, people, and evolving technology. Through my journey in the WordPress ecosystem, I’ve seen how strong systems shape outcomes—and how weak ones create friction. Today, I focus on helping teams improve execution and adapt to AI effectively.
“Most teams don’t struggle with ideas. They struggle with execution.”
Deadlines slip. Ownership is unclear. QA becomes the safety net. AI won’t fix this. It will expose it.
RECENT THINKING
On leadership & building teams
LEADERSHIP
I’ve seen people become “leaders” — and lose their teams in the process
On what actually changes — and what should stay the same — when you step into a leadership role.
COMMUNICATION
Communication is so much more than just language
Being proactive, reading the room, sharing context before someone has to ask — the things no one formally teaches but everyone notices.
WORDPRESS
Some milestones hit different — this WordPress release was one of them
On contributing to WordPress 6.9 — and what it means to be part of something much bigger than your own work.
